Important Note for SIM card:
1. Please test your SlM card and make sure it works well at home before installing the camera to the outside location.
2. The virtual cellular SlM card in the package is provided free for your test purpose, it contains 300MB cellular data package with a limited due date within 30 days after you activate it. If your area cannot find a good signal with the provided SIM card, we suggest you to buy other SIM card at the T mobile or AT&T service hall.
SIM Card Recharge Steps:
Click the gear icon into the "Base settings" page from Device list, then go to "4G DATA service" and "Cellular data recharge", choose the package to buy your data service.
Camera Activation Steps:
Step 1
When you first get the camera, please charge the camera for 10-13 hours, and when you find the battery box shows a solid green light, it means the camera is fully charged. Please enter into the next steps.
Step 2. Download the App
Please download the SOLlOM+ app in your Google Play Store for Andriod or App Store for iOS. lf you can not find the correct APP in the store, please scan the below QR code to download it.
1. Allow "SOLIOM+" use mobile cellular data and wireless LAN, otherwise the SIM card can not be found when you insert the card to your camera and fail to add the 4G camera to your APP and phone.
2. Allow "SOLlOM+" to get system push message and location permissions, otherwise your camera may not send out notifications correctly when your camera was triggered by motions.
Step 3. Register an account for Soliom +
1. Open the app and register your account with your Email address and it is recommended to verify your account from email so that you can retrieve password of your Soliom+ account in case.
2. Set a password for your account and make note to remember it. (Password is 8-32 digit or alphabet combination)
3. Click "Allow" or "Agree" on all access when you download soliom+ app and during the process of setting up your account so that the soliom+ app can have full access to your camera and phone. Otherwise your camera may have less function or incomplete setups.
Note:
att.net , msn.corn or hotmail.com domains are strict for unsubscrible email block, you may need to change other email so that you can receive verification email smoothly.
You can also choose to log in with Amazon account to avoid registering an account.
Step 4. Insert your SIM card correctly
Insert your cellular SIM card to the slot correctly according to the below picture. Please make sure to insert the SIM card when you power off the camera, this camera doesn't support hot-plugging and play.
Step 5. Turn on the camera
Turn on the camera, the power button is on the back of the solar panel. When the lED stays blue, it means the camera recognize the SlM card successfully, you can start the pair up process to set up your camera.
Troubleshooting for LED status if you cannot have a steady blue light:
1. LED stays red: The SIM card 4G signal is too weak in your region, you can adjust the antenna or take the camera outside changing a new location for a try, or you will have to change other SIM cards from T mobile or AT&T which works best in your area.
2. LED blinks red and blue quickly: The camera doesn't recognize the SIM card, you will have to check if you insert the card correctly or change other cards that works best in your area.
3. LED blinks red and blue slowly: lf you use the camera for some time and then stopped working that means your SlM card is running out of charge, you will have to recharge your SlM card.
4. LED blinks red: The device is faulty, please contact customer service.
5. LED blinks blue: The connection network is abnormal, please check the network.
Step 6. Pair up your camera
1. Bluetooth connection:
① Before connecting, please make sure that Bluetooth is turned on.
② When the camera indicator light stays blue, put the phone near the camera and click "Add a device".
When the app displays the message: "New device found. Do you want to configure it?", please click "OK" for successful connection.
③ If the connection fails, please try below step 2 "QR code scanning connection".
2. QR code scanning connection:
When the camera LED stays blue, use your mobile phone camera to scan the QR code sticked on the body of the camera.
Congratulations!
You have connected the device to the App successfully, now you can live view the camera on your phone anytime and anywhere.
More tips for your reference:
1. How to change the defaulted motion detection time length from 10 seconds to other time length?
Go to live view mode and find "Device setting" gear icon- go to "No delay" - change the time as you want.
P.S.: When you set the No delay time, the spotlight will turn on with the same time length when motion was triggered at night.

2. When you share your camera to family members, please let them to register a Soliom+ account using their email first and then start to share according to the user manual. The shared users cannot change administrator's password, the shared users are only limited to the defined permission configurations
3. Install Micro SD card only when the camera powered off, Camera doesn't support plug &play.
4. The camera is defaulted as SD for a smooth transmission, you can click it to change to HD for high resolution every time when you live view the camera. Or you can go to "Me settings" and go to "Common settings” to change the resolution to HD as default.
5. When you live view from app and found green video, you can log out the app and then log in to refresh the frame rate, the camera vide format is H.265+, sometimes low internet transmission will cause a short froze of frame rate.
When your download video on the phone and replay found green video, that means your phone has a lower version built-in video player that not compatible with H.265+ video format. We suggest you to download a video compressor and convertor or change other players such as: Oplayer
